Brows take up some pretty prime real estate on your face and as a result can be a complete selling feature for a models look. Most agencies will tell their models to leave their brows alone — which is good advice considering how wrong a simple at-home plucking session can go. Fuller brows are usually a flattering shape for the face, and leave a make-up artist with a lot of freedom.<\/p>\n
The one eyebrow look that will 99% never be in style is the unibrow. If you have any little strays in the middle of your face, separate those twins! Don\u2019t pluck too far in, just the small area right in the middle. This is especially important for men who generally have bushier, more unruly brows.<\/p>\n
As for those of us with sparse brows, some delicate pencilling in is a great way to go. Don\u2019t attempt any reshaping, just fill in any blank or sparse areas with small, swift strokes of a colour that best matches your natural brow colour. I love Laura Mercier\u2019s Eye Brow Pencil ($22 at Sephora.com), which has great blonde shades and brushes out beautifully.<\/p>\n
To show off your brow shape, you can swipe a natural highlighter underneath which will accentuate it nicely. Keep away from white frosty highlighters which impart way too much drama on an otherwise natural look.<\/p>\n
Brows are having a big moment and I have no doubt that yours will go through some crazy transformations on set.
